The best way to get a feel for how BidLucent can help your company is to register and try it for yourself! However, the following screenshots should give you an idea of how BidLucent helps contractors bid with confidence.
The Home Panel is the first thing you see when you sign-in to the software. It gives an overview of your company's jobs and also displays cummulative profit projections for all active jobs. This is the total amount of money BidLucent expects you to make on these jobs.
The heart of BidLucent is the Jobs Panel. In this example, we have entered a new job and are using the software to determine how much we should bid for it. Based on the information we have provided about the job, BidLucent has determined the job has a moderate risk of going over-budget. Additionally, the software tells us that with our currently-entered bid amount, we have an 85% chance of breaking even on this job and are likely to make at least $6,260 on it.
In addition to helping you estimate job costs, BidLucent tracks employee, customer and category performance, allowing you to spot trends in all three of these areas. In this example, half of the jobs this employee has been involved with have been on or under-budget, while one sixth of them have been more than 10% over-budget. Additionally, the software tells us that the average cost overrun of jobs this employee has worked on is 16%.
The Reports Panel allows you to take an aggregate view of employee, customer and category performance. In this example, we are viewing the Employee Performance Report, which tells us how many jobs each of our employees has worked on, the average cost overrun of those jobs and the percentage of those jobs that have made a profit. The table can be sorted based on any of these metrics.
